Current CMC Filament Options

At Cox Marine Creations, every print is made using carefully selected PETG filaments chosen for durability, appearance, and reef-safe performance.

This page showcases the current active filament colors available for select CMC products including frag racks, adapters, holders, and custom reef accessories.

Some colors are permanent stock options while others may be limited-run or specialty filaments depending on availability.

Because reef lighting can dramatically change appearance, all filament photos are shown under real-world aquarium lighting whenever possible to better represent how they may look inside an actual reef system.

⚠️ For gradient filaments, exact color placement, transitions, and final appearance cannot be guaranteed or previewed before printing. Smaller prints may appear mostly one color, while larger prints may develop stronger multi-tone or darker gradient effects. Every print will have a slightly unique appearance.

Solid Colors

Black

A darker glossy black that gives prints a really clean low-profile look in person. Under reef lighting it tends to stay deep black instead of fading gray, which makes colors around it stand out even more.

White

Bright clean white with a smooth glossy look that reflects reef lighting really well without picking up too much blue. Gives prints a super crisp clean appearance in person.

Red

A rich glossy red that keeps its color really well under reef lighting instead of turning dull or washed out. Has a deeper cleaner look in person than most bright reds.

Orange

Bright warm orange with a really bold look once printed. It stays pretty vibrant under reef lighting without shifting too yellow and adds a lot of contrast without feeling overly neon.

Yellow

Bright yellow with a really clean vibrant look in person. Under reef lighting it tends to glow a little more than most of the solid colors while still keeping a warmer yellow tone.

Green

A bright clean green that gets a really nice glow under reef lighting without going full highlighter green. In normal lighting it keeps a deeper richer green look.

Blue

A deeper ocean-style blue that stays pretty rich even under heavy reef lighting. In person it has a cooler darker look than the brighter electric blues and gives prints really clean contrast without pulling too purple.

Purple

A rich darker purple with a glossy finish that looks especially good under blue lighting. It keeps a really clean deep violet tone in person without becoming overly bright or pink.

Pink

Bright glossy pink with a really fun vibrant look once printed. Under reef lighting it keeps its color surprisingly well and tends to glow more than most of the darker solid colors.

Teal

A bright blue-green teal that has a really clean tropical look in person. Under reef lighting the cooler blue tones come out more while still keeping the green mixed in.

Gold

A warmer metallic gold with a softer satin look instead of a super shiny chrome finish. It catches reef lighting really well and gives prints a cleaner premium look in person with a color tone that honestly reminds me a bit of classic military brass and USMC-style gold accents.

Burnt Metal

A darker metallic blend with blue, titanium, and charcoal tones that shift a bit depending on lighting and print shape. Under reef lighting the metallic effect becomes way more noticeable and gives prints a really unique look.

Metal Wine Red

A deep metallic wine red with darker ruby and almost black tones mixed in depending on the lighting. In person it has a heavier richer look than standard reds, and under reef lighting the metallic shimmer really starts to come through without becoming overly bright. The darker red tones honestly give it a bit of that classic USMC dress red look once printed, especially when paired with black.

Translucent Colors

Clear

Transparent PETG with a super clean glass-like look and smooth glossy finish. Lets light pass through naturally for subtle lighting effects and gives prints a really polished appearance without adding extra color.

Translucent Green

Atomic translucent green PETG with an ultra-bright highlighter-style glow and vivid fluorescent appearance under blue or reef lighting. The color stays extremely vibrant while still keeping a smooth translucent finish that really pops once printed.

Gradient Colors

Pink to Purple

Smooth flowing blend of vibrant pinks, violets, and rich purples with a glossy satin finish. The colors shift naturally depending on lighting and print thickness, giving prints a clean high-contrast look without feeling overly bright or neon.

Pink to Yellow

A warm gradient that blends bright pinks into soft orange and golden yellow tones with a smooth glossy finish. This color has a lighter more playful look in person with softer transitions that glow especially well once light passes through the print.

Green to Purple

A really unique gradient that shifts between vivid greens, cooler teal tones, and deep purples with a smooth glossy finish. The cooler and warmer tones create a really unique color shift while still keeping a clean balanced look under lighting.

Yellow to Green

A bright gradient that shifts between soft yellow and vivid green tones with a smooth glossy finish. Under lighting the greens become extremely vibrant while the yellows stay softer and warmer, giving the overall color a fresh tropical feel without looking overly dark or heavy.

Translucent/Gradient (TG) Colors

Candy Red to Black

A really bold translucent gradient that has a darker more aggressive look in person. The red sections light up hard almost like a cherry Tootsie Pop, while the darker areas can look nearly black depending on the angle, lighting, and print thickness. Definitely one of the more dramatic translucent gradients once light starts passing through it.

Blue to Purple

This translucent gradient shifts a ton depending on the lighting and shape of the print. In some spots it looks deep blue, and in others the purple starts showing through more. Under reef lights the colors really wake up, especially on curved or textured prints.

Copper to Gold

A warmer metallic-style transparent gradient that shifts between copper, amber, and gold tones. This one has a cleaner more subtle shimmer instead of looking super bright, and it ends up looking really good on display pieces or accent parts.
